QuantuMDx presents at The Union World Conference on Lung Health 2023

QuantuMDx recently presented at the Union World Conference on Lung Health 2023. Jonathan O’Halloran, CEO, proudly introduced the TB Host Immune Response Assay (TB-HIRA) and the QuantuMDx vision for revolutionising rapid diagnostics for tuberculosis.

Currently in development, and based on the RISK6 mRNA signature, TB-HIRA, is a host immune response rapid diagnostic being designed for use on benchtop PCR systems and ultimately our point-of-care platform, the Q-POC™. Using a small volume of whole blood (µL) from a fingerstick sample rather than a sputum sample, the assay aims to aid the clinical diagnosis of active pulmonary TB.

The Union World Conference on Lung Health brings together experts, researchers, and innovators in the field of respiratory health and tuberculosis and was the ideal place for QuantuMDx to showcase the Q-POC™ and share the potential of TB-HIRA which is being developed to transform TB diagnosis and treatment monitoring at the point-of-care.
